“Velvet Upon Tweed Boutique Theatre” is situated In the heart of Newlands in Cape
Town and is owned by Lainey Boonzaier.
The venue is a mini theatre, beautifully appointed,
and decorated in old fashioned Victorian style, situated in a private home built
in 1904.
The theatre room has a stage complete with red velvet curtains and upright
piano and is known for its charming and intimate ambience.
The theatre seats 40 people and is ideal for a variety of small functions such as concerts, lectures, workshops, wine tastings, birthday parties, soirées etc.
